2025 was a big year for wildlife at Lofftwen, with the discovery of two critically endangered mammals making it home. Two populations of water voles have been discovered, and pine marten – thought to be almost extinct just a few years ago – have been captured on different trail cameras.

Lofftwen achieves Pasture Champion status for its work on improving biodiveristy from the association Pasture Life.
